Sneak Peek of the Campus Center Renovations 

Modern Spaces and Sustainable Design Highlight Campus Center Renovations 

As of this summer, SUNY Poly has completed the majority of renovations to its Campus Center, creating modernized spaces designed to enhance student life, accessibility, and sustainability across campus. 

The renovations transformed the former pool area into new classroom space while also introducing a centrally located Residential Life suite, updated athletic locker rooms, offices, and meeting spaces for coaches and student-athletes. A newly renovated lobby area now provides a more welcoming environment for students and visitors and significantly improves building circulation and ADA accessibility. 

The project also supports SUNY Poly’s commitment to sustainability through the installation of geothermal heating and cooling systems, replacing older natural gas boilers, and helping to reduce the building’s overall carbon emissions. 

A ribbon cutting will be held to celebrate the renovated space on September 15 at 2:30 p.m.
