You may not know his name, but if you’ve traveled You may not know his name, but if you’ve traveled through Central New York, you’ve likely experienced the impact of Anthony Roach’s work.
 
Earning his associate’s degree at MVCC before transferring seamlessly to SUNY Poly, Anthony built the technical foundation that now supports his work at NYSDOT Region 2. As a Senior Transportation Analyst in the TSMO Unit, he helps use technology, coordination, and a Driver’s First approach to improve the safety, reliability, and efficiency of the region’s transportation network.

SUNY Poly’s Maddox Garvey has been named to the Te SUNY Poly’s Maddox Garvey has been named to the Team USA Deaf Baseball roster, representing the United States in Japan.

For Maddox, the opportunity is both profoundly personal and deeply meaningful.

“Being selected to represent Team USA Deaf Baseball is honestly one of the biggest honors of my life,” Garvey said. “It’s something I’ve dreamed about since I first picked up a baseball. To wear ‘USA’ across my chest means I’m not just playing for myself—I’m playing for my family, my teammates, my coaches, and the entire deaf baseball community.”
