SUNY Poly was thrilled to welcome and host higher education partners, community leaders, and members of our campus community for today’s Empowerment Symposium, a collaborative event proudly presented in partnership with @mvcc_uticarome, @herkimercollege and @sunymorrisville

At the heart of today’s conversations was a shared commitment to belonging, inclusion, and the transformative power of community. The Empowerment Symposium brought us together to explore new ideas and strengthen collaborations across our region’s colleges and communities — a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together with purpose and care.

We are thrilled to announce that this morning, @masonic_medical, @mvhealthsystem and SUNY Poly signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), formally establishing the MV Biotech Collective. This powerful regional alliance is designed to position the Mohawk Valley as a leader in biomedical innovation! The Collective unites the core strengths of the three institutions:

•MMRI’s foundational scientific research
•MVHS’s critical clinical excellence
•SUNY Poly’s advanced academic innovation.

Separately, the three organizations have been working on biotechnology projects within their own disciplines. The partnership will allow for easy cross-institutional collaboration, encouraging clinicians, scientists, faculty and students to work together on shared projects.
