Basirat Agbaje ’25 – Basirat completed a first construction project as a Project Engineer with the New York State Insurance Fund and began pursuing a master’s degree at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture. 

Mary Lee Berg ’10 – Mary Lee retired in December 2025 as Professor Emerita from Onondaga Community College and is now volunteering with the Syracuse/Central New York Nurse Honor Guard and pursuing personal trainer certification. 

Kyle Chapman ’16 – Kyle welcomed a second child, passed all four sections of the CPA exam, earned a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor designation and launched KTC Accounting & Advising in the Hudson Valley. 

Eugene Durrigan ’88 – Eugene is enjoying travel and retirement after concluding a 30-year teaching career in 2022. 

Richard Dygert ’87 – Richard is enjoying retirement and celebrating a growing SUNY Poly family tradition as a granddaughter plans to attend SUNY Poly and play volleyball. 

Michael Ersoff ’76 – After a 33-year career with Child Protective Services, Michael continues serving the community through the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program, where he has worked for the past 13 years. 

Paige Garnot ’25 – Paige earned board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and began working as a Family Nurse Practitioner at a primary care practice in Plattsburgh, New York. 

Beverly A. Griffin ’91 – Beverly continues serving the Syracuse community as a semi-retired Registered Nurse and community volunteer and has received several recent honors recognizing community service. 

Richard Hooker ’79 – Richard is looking forward to getting together with students he has had the pleasure of working with, as well as fellow alumni, faculty, staff, and friends on campus this fall. Currently employed in a hybrid role as one of the embedded software leads on the XM30, the next-generation Army tank, Richard works as a systems software architect at American Rheinmetall.

Brian Jweid ’13 – Brian started a new position in April 2026 as Coordinator of Human Resources with Madison-Oneida BOCES. 

Nathaniel Kren ’21 – Nathaniel transitioned to a New York City-based startup after several years with a local software company. Nathaniel also purchased a first home and recently became engaged. 

Erika (Kistowski) Manley ’16 – Erika married Jacob Manley and is expecting their first child. Erika also received the Genesis Group’s Outstanding Educator Award for work as an elementary school counselor. 

Mary Bringman Meyers ’84 – Mary is celebrating family milestones, including daughter Margaret’s engagement and daughter Sarah beginning a second year as a social worker for Erie County. 

Cheryl Fletcher Miller ’82 – Cheryl is enjoying retirement after a 32-year career as a Business Education teacher in the Malone Central School District and continues to stay connected with longtime SUNY friends. 

Rebecca Neal ’26 – Rebecca began working as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a local nonprofit organization, serving on an Assertive Community Treatment team that supports individuals with serious mental illness. 

Joseph Peregrim Jr. ’87 – Joseph retired in July 2026 after 38.5 years with NSH USA/Simmons Machine Tool Corporation. 

John Peschieri ’04 – John became President of BAR Construction in Greensboro, North Carolina. John has also earned professional engineering licenses in Vermont, New Hampshire, Maryland and North Carolina. 

Andriana Semko ’14, ’18 – Andriana received the 2026 New York Health Information Management Association Educator Award, recognizing excellence in preparing the next generation of health information management professionals. 

Tom Soroka Jr. ’84/’85 – Tom retired after a 40-year career in satellite communications, telecom network engineering, VoIP and fraud mitigation. 

Katharine St. Laurent ’10 – Katharine was named the 2026 Oswego County Emerging Artist through a program supported by the Art Association of Oswego, Riverside Artisans and the Shineman Foundation. 

A. Carol Towers ’12 – Carol is enjoying retirement after concluding a career in 2019 and remains proud of earning a SUNY Institute of Technology degree. 

Britney Tucker ’23 – Britney started a new position as a Construction Manager with C&S Companies in its K-12 Construction group.
