SUNY Poly Reaccredited by Middle States

SUNY Poly is pleased to announce that their accreditation was recently reaffirmed by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) through 2032-2033. SUNY Poly, part of the State University of New York, has been accredited by the MSCHE since 1979.
The Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), a globally recognized accrediting body acknowledged by the U.S. Secretary of Education since 1952, supports more than 500 institutions by promoting academic quality, institutional integrity, and continuous improvement through a rigorous, mission-driven peer review process. As part of this process, MSCHE evaluators review a comprehensive self-study prepared by the institution, alongside submitted documentation, on-site interviews, and additional data gathering, to determine whether the institution meets the Commission’s standards for accreditation and requirements of affiliation.
Looking ahead, SUNY Poly is entering a new chapter of strategic growth, guided by a bold Strategic Plan through 2029. Grounded in four key pillars—student success, campus infrastructure, brand and external partnerships, and academic excellence—the university is advancing its mission with renewed energy and vision. Backed by historic state investments and expanding industry partnerships, SUNY Poly is enhancing learning, research, and innovation. Moreover, the recent development of 14 research centers underscores its growing role as a hub for discovery and inclusive economic impact.
